Before his arrival at Parkway, he served as
Pastor of Ivanhoe United Church of Christ in Raytown, (a suburb of Kansas City)
MO. Previously, Rev. Cameron was the
Associate Pastor at Norfield Congregational United Church of Christ in Weston,
CT from 1993-1998.
Rev. Cameron was ordained in the United Church of Christ in
1993 and in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in 2003. He was born in 1966, raised in Quincy, MA,
and graduated from Brandeis University in 1988. He received a Master of Divinity from Andover National
Theological Seminary in Newborn, MA in 1993.
Rev. Cameron is happily married to Carmen Bumgarner and is
the very proud father of Maya (7), Tavis (5) and Iris (3).
Special interests of Rev. Cameron’s are spending time with
his family, journaling for his children, camping, the arts and correspondence.
